St. Hubertus at Connolly Game Ranch is consecrated and dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate heart of Mary. It is sacred, Holy ground complete with a consecrated Altar, stations of the cross and a beautiful grotto.

Saint Hubertus is comprised of the Connolly family, guests, and friends, who are passionate about the sports of hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping, and who are vitally interested and actively involved in the preservation of wildlife, its habitat, and the tradition of ethical and legal hunting and fishing.
In the ancient and venerable tradition of Catholic hunting, the Church has appointed Saint Hubert as the patron saint for those who crave the thrill of the chase.
The Diocese of San Angelo has graciously offered mass for individuals or groups who retreat with us.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to sponsor Catholic clergy and bring them to host a retreat for you. As a Baton Rouge, LA family-owned ranch, we would like to extend our invitation to the Men of the Immaculata and Catholic clergy members.
About Connolly Game Ranch
The Connolly family purchased approximately 671.5 acres of land in Buffalo Gap/Tuscola, Texas in 2004 with intentions to make it a sanctuary for family, friends, and wildlife. Connolly Game Ranch is a conservation operation and home to thousands of animals of over 50 species from four continents, but it is much more than that. What began as an oasis for family and friends soon grew to include hunters, retreatants, and sightseers. We have enjoyed countless memories at our ranch and began to donate hunts and meat to disabled veterans, young adults with special needs, and Catholic clergy.
An Oasis for everyone
The Connolly family, guests, and friends, are passionate about the sports of hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping, and are vitally interested and actively involved in the preservation of wildlife, its habitat, and the tradition of ethical and legal hunting and fishing. The preservation of wildlife, habitat, our hunting and fishing heritage, and traditions are real and personal interests of ours, who have made a significant contribution and sacrifice. We promote hunting and fishing as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, preserve traditional hunting and fishing customs, and practice wildlife conservation to protect endangered species from extinction. The meat is often donated to parish food pantries, fund raisers, and to feed families.
Saint Hubertus at Connolly Game Ranch is dedicated to providing a camp, land, and facilities to Catholic clergy to host a combination spiritual retreat, fraternal support, and a great hunt. In the ancient and venerable tradition of Catholic hunting, the Church has appointed Saint Hubert as the patron saint for those who crave the thrill of the chase.
